Dear Youth Game City Coordinator

Thank you to those that were able to attend the Youth Games Coordinators meeting in March here in Oakland, California. The committee reviewed the games plan operation and the rules and regulations as it pertain to the Youth Games.

We’ve scheduled a follow-up meeting from May 20-24, 2008 in Oakland, California. Each coordinator should be prepared to discuss the following:

• An example roster for all sports, separated by gender. (This crucial for housing purposes)
• Roster list for potential coaches and additional chaperones
• Finalization of team sports and cities
• We will also discuss the individual registration forms for each participant, parental/participant consent form for each participant. Please keep in mind that every participant needs to provide a picture ID (school ID, passport, etc) and a copy of his/her birth certificate

• Minutes from the March meeting with rule changes
• US Youth Games forms – participant form, consent form, ID Passport, Birth Certificate
• Time line dates
• Finalize the venues and teams
